Sapporo Snow Festival

We checked into our hotel after visiting the Susukino Ice Festival and quickly freshened up before heading out again for a crab dinner which Panda Travel treated us to.

We enjoyed our dinner nabemono style.  It was very good.

After dinner we walked to Odori Park for a quick glimpse of the Sapporo Snow Festival.  A more leisurely visit was planned for the next day.

It was the first day of the Festival and the park was pretty crowded.

A lot of people were going for the ramen on this cold night.

This crab booth seemed pretty popular too.

My sisters opted to try the grilled scallop with cheese.

We only had one hour to spend there, but it was snowing pretty heavily and it was pretty freezing cold, so one hour seemed just about right.
