When I planted the bottom root portion of a few green onion stalks into some dirt, I really didn't know what to expect. I kinda thought that the stems would grow back, but I didn't know that a few bulbs would appear at the tips. What a rookie horticulturist, yah!
I think it's so cool.
I like how a few stalks got bent from my watering. I feel like an ikebana arranger.
My sister Geri said that the seeds will fall to the ground and baby green onions will grow. I can't wait!
