Grilled Ribs with Ginger, Garlic and Honey

Wendell followed the Grilled Baby Back Rib recipe he found in this month's Costo Connection for these ribs. It doesn't look anything like the picture in the magazine, but it still was good. He said the recipe doesn't call for it, but he parboiled the ribs before marinating.

We were both surprised when the marinade turned out more like a paste than sauce.
I like to show off how good I am at heating the coals.

Thanks Erick!

Rand, I did drive down to Ala Moana Park yesterday. I got there at about 9:30 a.m. They had these barricades set up reserving parking spaces so I couldn't find any parking. I might've been too early too cause there were no races happening yet. On top of that, I needed to get back to Hawaii Kai for a 12 o'clock lunch date. Sooooo I left and never did get to take any pictures. Hey, but Rand, I DID get shots from 3 years ago. I'll go dig through my "archives" and try and find my pics from then!

Betty was "YUM"!

Looks kinda dry...was it juicy?

Hahaha, Nate you're right, some parts were dry, but the fattier parts were juicy. Maybe I went overcook um or maybe shouldn't parboil it first.
