I took Kona for a quick walk after I got home from work today. I was almost home approaching the cul de sac just before ours. This lady approached riding on a bike with two dogs on leashes, one big black dog and one medium-sized dog. I took Kona on the inside of the cul de sac, stopped and gave her space to pass. Instead of passing she decides to go on the inside too and tells me to go ahead first. As me and Kona make our move, her big dog lunges for us, and yanks the other dog and the lady to the ground. She gets mad at me and says, "Oh God that could've been handled so much better. You should've gone way into the cul de sac and let me pass." I just say to her, "Okay . . . are you okay?" She grimaced and nodded her head. WTF!!
Me and Kona are fine. I'm glad that lady or her dogs didn't get hurt. I would've felt bad. You can bet I'm gonna keep an eye out for her everytime we go walking, and stay waaaaaay out of her way.
OMG!!! Poor Kona, was he traumatized? I guess she deserved to fall down eh? BACHI!! Hmmmm, is it still considered bachi if you get hurt BEFORE being an asshole? ;)
Oh, good grief. What was she thinking!!! How can a person ride a bicycle and control 2 big dogs?? Some people...if they had a brain, they'd be dangerous. Glad you and Kona are ok.

Les, it was a bit more excitement than Kona's used to, but we'll try and stay away from bike riders for awhile.
Kathy, I coulda used the backup.
Betty, I keep wondering if it's a common practice for her to ride her bike with her dogs, and if so howdahell she never ran into problems before.
