I got a sakura from a guy in Wahiawa and planted it but it has never bloomed. I suspect it doesn't get enough sun because my neighbor's giant lychee tree blocks some of the sun. There might still be hope because the ones the Wahiawa Sakura Society planted around Manoa blooms sometimes as late as May. Then again, it is in full sunlight. Oh well. v
