Do you remember CQ? She's a friend that I used to work with. If you search "CQ" on my blog you'll find that she's in it a lot. CQ took a class at Ben Franklin about a month ago and learned how to use Ken Oliver's Color Burst powders. She came over to my house the other weekend and taught me!! Here's my Flowers in Vase.
Color Burst are watercolor powders that are activated with water. It's very, very potent, kinda scary to use, and very, very fun.
Les, I dunno how come they look so different, but CQ had waaaay better control than me.
Neat yah, Kat. Thanks!
Thanks Chet.
Aunty! Aunty! Aunty! I went ask her already!! And guess what! Her daughter can draw good too. She likes to do manga! Now I can tell her you asked yourself!! Yippeeeee!!!!
thanks for today

Agree with anonymous, love the vibrant colors.
Ditto, to anonymous comment. Loved the vibrant colors. Your paintings could pass for a Manet, Van Gogh or O’Keefe.

CQ is the really talented one, Aunty!
Are these cards? I love flowers.
Not cards, Mmiissee. CQ did hers on a small canvas, mine is on plain watercolor paper.
Looks awesome. Where did CQ go?
Not sure what you mean Erick, but the class was at Ben Franklin. CQ is still working with us.
