I wondered if it would work on the bottom of this pan.
I made a paste with baking soda and some water, smeared it on and left it for a few hours.
It kinda worked.

I just recently used it in my shower. The corner intersections are gross looking with black looking mold - and I used to try all kinds of cleaning products but I just gave up after. I found a recipe using 3/4 c baking soda and 1/4 cup bleach. Mix into a paste. I applied it to the intersections with a skinny pointy old toothbrush and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then, I brushed it, let it sit for 10 more minutes, and then rinsed.
It worked pretty good! Well, it worked better on one side and kinda okay on the other. So, I'll try again another day when I feel like cleaning (rare days).
I like baking soda. I think I need to go out and buy some more.

Ideas....
Go outside and spray the pan with oven spray den run inside da house fass! But take of your flips first so you can run faster! ; )
Or put the pan on your oven rack and spray, den close da oven door fass and da overspray helps clean your oven too! It's a another twofer! ; )

My tip for your shower.
I make a spray bottle of Clorox Bleach and water mix. Very cheap to make, and much better than the store bought kine because you can control your mixture and make it stronger if needed.
Every time I am done with my shower I spray my shower and tub with my Clorox mix.
No more mold! And so quick and easy! Hope this helps!
Jalna, i know a guy that can take that pan to the beach and use the sand and salt water to get the hardened oil all out. : )

Sounds good but I am like Jalna - the fumes would get to me. My master bath only has a slotted wood door so even if I close the door, I would smell the bleach, and I bathe late at night. Maybe I'll try it in the morning and leave the room.

Maybe you could try using a magic eraser sponge? I think you're not supposed to use it for food items but since it's the outside bottom of the pan it might be okay.

that's pretty darn cool! So no need scrub? You just let it sit there then rinsed it off? I know you used paper towel last time but I wonder if you used a brillo pad or something...
