My BFF passed away a few days ago. 48 years we were BFFs. We met when we were 13 years old.
I don't have any pictures of the two of us together from back then, but this is the tennis courts in Kaimuki where we spent every day in the summer of 1968 and 1969.
And this is the Taerobix class in Aina Haina where for years we used to go exercise up until about seven years ago.
This is Zsa's and her damn brother who used to put glue in my hair and ice on my butt, back in the day when I used to go sleep over her house.
Zsa's and Ricky met while we were in high school and have been together ever since.

With such a long history, BFFs are like a sibling born into a different family, that kind of blood tie that binds just as strongly blood. Oh man, I can't imagine losing any of my old time friends, even if we don't hang together that tie is still there, like my high school friends. There must be an interesting story as to why Zsa's has an apostrophe in her name. God Give You Peace -N

Thank you, N. Her real name is Carolyn. Her mom gave her the nickname Zsa's. When we were kids, I asked Zsa's about the spelling and she said she didn't know . . . that's just how it was.

Sorry Jalna! Always very sad now, as times are changing and we are losing lifelong friends and family members.
