Dried Aku

My brother Cy went to Azama on 10th Avenue in Palolo Valley to pick up his fave dried aku yesterday.  Dried aku is actually not my thing, but I just wanted to share his pics.

They also have fishcake, miso butterfish and lau lau!  I haven't been there in awhile.  I might need to pay them a visit soon.

Ho da expensive! btw, the other day when my son was here (from Portugal), he wanted to have laulau. Ruger Market was out, St Louis Drive Inn was out, and so I went to Young's in Kalihi just before they closed for the day. You know what? It was UNreal good. Laulau is not my favorite by theirs was super delicious and perfect. Kinda expensive but plenty leaf.

yeah aku tends to be a bit too “fishy” for me, but Satoshi loves it
