Nana Ai Katsu moved from Ohana Marketplace to Kaimuki which is a good thing for us because they're closer now.
This is what we ordered a few days ago.
Papa Kasane Tonkatsu Bento ($$$$$23.50)
Biggu Daddy Takoyaki Katsu ($12.50)
I'm not a fan of takoyaki so this was par for me. Landon thought that it was good.
Giga Ebi (Shrimp) Katsu ($9.50)
This was my favorite . . . so ono!

Looks good. Same here regarding Takayuki. I don’t like the soft texture of the dough, its like it’s not cooked completely.

😱$23.50 for tonkatsu ? Food looks good!
j, so ono seeming. I am on a tonkatsu making kick so this made me drool. Such cool food places in Kaimuki compared to Waipahu which is mostly Filipino food mostly. :( -N
Not a bid fan of takoyaki too. Love tonkatsu though, yum!
everything looks ono!
tasty
I had a bento recently. Put the tonkatsu in the airfryer for several minutes. Was so ono!

Izsmom, exactly!
Susan, and we got two!!
N, Kaimuki has become a foody haven, but you know what is missing? Filipino food! LOL.
Chet, I actually wanted to get their Tonkatsu roll, but they were sold out. The gal there said it usually sells out in an hour. I ordered the shrimp burger instead and am so glad that I did.
Lunae, yes!
V, good idea!
I have wanted to try there for so long, never made it to the Ohana Marketplace location! I wonder if I will ever make it to the Kaimuki location? LOL. Where is the parking for this location? Mich
I, too, wish had Filipino food in Kaimuki. Pancit, pork adobo fried rice omelet, sari sari, etc. So where are they in Kaimuki? I also saw Asahi Grill open up where it used to be Mandalay (for little while), used to be painted black and none of the restaurants lasted. Maybe this one will. Across from Goodyear tires.
Mich, LOL, there is a parking lot behind or if you're lucky there's street parking right in front.
Aunty, I didn't know about Asahi Grill . . . or maybe I just forgot. That's how it is nowadays. Nana Ai is across the street from Queen's Theater.
