Saturday, October 15, 2016 Nopporo Forest Park, Hokkaido
Our first excursion of the trip was to The Historical Museum of Hokkaido. We took off promptly at 9:00 a.m.
I'll admit to you that I am a poor student when it comes to listening to lectures. All I hear is blah, blah, blah . . . blah, blah, blah, blah . . .
and so even though our tour guide did explain many of the exhibits to us, I only have photos for you with no explanations.
I do believe, however, that the bones below belonged to a woolly mammoth . . . because it does look like Manny from Ice Age.

Great pics! I'm the same way at lectures - blah, blah, blah. LOL!
Hahahaha. Thanks, Dean!

Hey Susan, maybe I could've been more scholarly if I had more time to browse . . . or not . . .
Kat, I think maybe that's why I got little bit nauseous . . . because the bus was so tall it rocked a bit.
I agree, V!
Hahahaha, thanks, Izsmom!
hahahaha! I fall asleep in all my lectures, the speaker must get pissed off at me all the time. I'm so rude but I can't help it!
LOL. Need to have your supply of sunflower seeds handy, Les.
Fascinating! I'm so sad for Ainu people...similar stories of native Indians here or Aborigines in Australia.
