On several recommendations, me and Wendell went to The Wheatgrass Center today to check out their Vibram FiveFingers. It's in Kaimuki on Center Street behind Bank of Hawaii.
It's a really neat place . . . almost feels like you're outdoors.
Wendell had a hard time deciding. He tried on several pairs.
When he hit on the right one though, there was no question. We both chose the same model, the Komodo Sport. I picked the one with velcro (on the left) and he chose the one with lace (on the right). It's $115!! Expensive yah. But it's our Christmas present to each other, and wearing it is supposed to make us healthy, happy and more connected to our bodies. I'm just hoping I'll be less klutzy. We'll see.

Wow! They are expensive...if they are comfortable and do what they are designed to do, then it is worth it.
When my father-in-law was alive, he would drink wheatgrass juice for his cancer.
We'll see how the shoes do Betty. Don't know if I could bring myself to drink that juice. Merry Christmas!
Oh no invasion of the frog people ! just wait you will start craving wheat grass now that you are more amphibian like :O)
and dont be alarmed if you start feeling jumpy and feel like making noise in the middle of the nite ribit...haha..
I want one, but theres too many to choose from. What made Wendell choose this model?
HAHAHAHA!! Too funny Anon!
I know Mmiissee, hard to pick! Wendell tried on so many different ones, but each one had at least some little thing that he wasn't happy with. The one he picked felt perfect to him.
