There's something about being in a roomful of people who are your exact same age, who have all matured quite a bit, who at a more youthful time had shared your exact same space, no matter how remotely it might've been, that creates a unique kinship - an actual kind of love that is unlike any other. At the reunion last night I felt a bond. A bond which was unknowingly created many, many years ago that linked every single person in the room. Each of my classmates and I, all varied and different in nature, in experience and in history are forever linked because we are the only people in the world and in all time who make up the Kaimuki High School Class of 1971.
Our 40th reunion was held last night at Natsunoya Teahouse. I will be posting my reunion pictures in three parts. For this Part 1, I'm focusing on only two people, Frank Sera and Steven Kim. I'll be working on more of the pictures tonight and will hopefully post Part 2 tomorrow.
Frank Sera was such a ladys' man last night that I just had to share the pictures of him with his babes.
