Kai and the Gentle Leader

I paid 25 bucks for this gentle leader, and after months of "training" in our back yard, now even bribes aren't working.

We used that on our two older dogs. It took awhile but they got used to it. It made it easy for me to take them on walks.

J, never heard of this before, had to Google it. Is Kai a reactive dog? I owned a Collie once and after him decided to never own a dog I couldn't carry or handle. When Collie don't wanna go, we don't go!! He was a potential show dog, his brother was a winning Best in Show but when I took him to training classes I realized he was too darn big to 'correct'. Sheltie,I could tug on leash or use my foot to nudge. But Collie can't be moved. Worse his ex owner and breeder was the trainer and I was humiliated! Plus his ex owner was a dog whisperer and he would listen to him. N

His body posture and face is saying "no way." Still, SO cute!

I could walk Kai when he was smaller, but now he's too strong for me.
