To the reader who mailed this to me anonymously . . . thank you so much! I got it today! You touched my heart. It's just what I wanted.
And thank you for this photo. I love it. I don't remember the mural in Kapahulu, but I'm gonna ask Wendell's friend Steven. He has a memory like an elephant.

*side note for you and your sisters. Moilili Community Center (next to/behind Down to Earth on Beretania) is having their semi-annual "Mini B" from Monday - Friday mornings 9:00am - noon. I heard that they have fantastic bargains. Bags of fabric, Tori Richards brand new shirts for $1, appliances, etc. New things are brought out every day because they have so much stuff!
I went to the Mini B this morning - hard to say if it was great or not so great, though I did end up with a box of stuff that I don't need, lol. Fabrics were not cute or great stuff, but they keep putting out more all the time. It was more like things that you would find at a garage sale. Cute bunch of people much older than me. I like that a lot.
Awww... This is so sweet and you so deserve it, Jalna.
As you can see I'm having fun catching up with your posts while I lie in bed recuperating from this aggravating cold. Hopefully I'll be on my feet tomorrow. After being away for 5 weeks, there's too much to do!

I like that rule, Aunty. Thanks for the tip. I'll let my sisters and my mom know.
