Mich, I just cleaned out Wendell's dad's room. You shoulda seen how many boxes came outta there. Most were used to store stuff. Some were empty. I dumped um all. Had too many.
j: I love my boxes too, except I just keep 'em and w/ me going to COSTCO now, it's kinda piling up. But you never know when you need a box for something like storage. I also like unusual or different shopping bags....I've kept the ones you gave me from Japan. I just love Japanese shopping bags. I notice my mom is like that too so must've inherited that. I like to keep my goodies and small kine things inside them. -N
I don't know what it is with me and boxes but I have hard time throwing any out. I keep them all, all sizes, 'cause you never know when your going to need a box. At least you put yours to use.
I love how handy you are Jalna! I do the very same thing in my house. I reuse every thing I can. Then after I acquire way too much junk, I later have to do a purge at times. ; )
J: sorry off topic but I saw this on my FB feed. Sounds ono yeah? Maybe It's Jenny will try it out! -N http://www.frolichawaii.com/blogs/something-new-omg-honolulu-finally-has-korean-chain-chicken/
Ever wonder what to do with your meat grease when you pan cook on your stove top? You do not want to just pour the grease down your sink, it will eventually clog your drain! So I save all of my glass jars! The large pasta sauce jars work great for me because they are so big!
So after you cook your meat and you have all of that grease, you just pour the grease in your reused glass jar. Put the lid on to keep da stink in. And then you put it under your sink, until it's full.
Once your jar get's filled up with grease, it goes in your garbage can that you made from a re used box that you learned from Jalna!!! ; )
And den later into da trash outside, once you stop being so lazy and can actually go outside fo once an get some sunshine! Dat's good fo you ya know, once in a while! ; )
I keep boxes too for the boys toys and just to put clutter in them until I can sort and put things in their rightful place, which isn't sometimes after a long while haha...but a lot still goes in the recycle bin. I like your purple box...I mean trash can : )
Ha ha ha! Jalna, you're a hoot! I enjoyed all the comments here and...so funny! State of Oregon has excellent recycling program. I'm very pleased with that.

Haha, you the box lady, just like I am the bag lady!

That is a brilliant idea. Don't know why I always thought it had to be a "rubbish can" in order to use it as a rubbish can. Thanks for the tip!

LOL. You're welcome, Aunty.
ME TOO, N! Those Japan shopping bags. So special. I cannot throw um away.
Winnie, I just threw away a whole bunch of boxes. Was hard to do, but I had to. Was just taking up too much space.
lol
What a great idea! Art keeps tossing them all in the recycle bin. He's never thought of reusing them this way. Hmmmm....

I agree, Kat . . . kinda funny!

OMG for real, N!!!! I want some of that action NOW.
Here is a reuse from me.

Sweet! No more clogged drains!
We do that too, Mark! I love your explanation . . . soooo funny!

LOL, Susan . . . I like your "temporary" box idea.
