NeilMed Sinus Rinse
A couple of days ago, Wendell's good friend Steven dropped off a bottle and some packets of this NeilMed Sinus Rinse. Steven says that his doctor recommended it to help with his sinus problems. He uses it twice a day on a regular basis.
I used it immediately after he left. It is absolutely WONDERFUL. It got rid of all the crap in my sinus passages and it made them feel so clear.
First thing the next morning I used the rinse again, with even better results. I don't normally have sinus or allergy problems, but I can imagine that for the people who do, this would be a Godsend. I can't wait to get my son to try it.
I got the above picture from Amazon. They sell the kit for $32.83. Costco's coupon book (effective January 30) shows a similar kit for $3.50 off. Unfortunately, I don't know what the final price will be. Either way, whether you have allergy problems or not, you should get it. For real. I wish I knew about this years ago. I wonder if it'll help with my snoring problem.

That is a version of the original neti pot, this bottle is much easier to use, this set is a a double pack and you can get other single ones for less, they sell the packets sep.look for coupons or wait for sales,at longs. The packets cost a lot . Glad,to know you are getting good results, a doctor I know of actually gives the sets to his patients. However don't over use it, as too much isn't good ...a few times a weeks seems to be fine,of,course, consult your doctor. Seems that overuse can kill the good bacteria as well . I saw a story about it being overused and the patients suffering even more.
Good advice, Anon. Thanks.
Thank you for sharing. Will keep an eye out for it the next time I go to Costco.
So happy to hear you got relief from it! Was just at longs and noticed the shelf, was, empty of this bottle....and they only had the old style pots.
FYI they also sell a saline aerosol by netii as a moisterizer. Saw it at walmart. Makes one wonder if surfers are free, from sinus problems....;)
Dr.Anon
Hey, we use that - it really helps get the sinus crap out!
Wonderful you found something to help. For me, and for easy and cheap on the go fix my nose help. I pick up a bottle of saline solution at Wal Mart for about $2 bucks. It's just a salty water solution. Won't hurt your nose and not addictive. When the bottle runs out and I don't want to run to the store, I refill the bottle with a little sea salt and water. Works wonders. No need spend $30 bucks, unless emergency I guess when you need extra power, because way too much hana bada! Just spray every day and no more hana bada.
Great, Mmiissee.
Ho, Dr. Anon . . . me thinks there're a lot of sick people out there lately.
Hey Dean . . . Dr. Anon was just talking about you. LOL.
Thanks for all da tips, Mark!
wow, cool stuff!
this stuff is amazing. Works really well to clear out the gunk that clogs the sinus. I used to make my own solution, but you have to make sure that you use filtered water (anyway) or else you are introducing critters into your sinus.
It takes a bit getting used to, but it's neat, Erick.
Yeah, I like it, Jos.
Okay, I get question. I can get this locally for my husband, who has terrible allergies. But if he's gonna feel like he's drowning, I know he won't use it even if it would help him.
So do you feel like you're drowning when you use it?
I have a feeling he might not like it, Moki. It does feel kinda weird. You gotta breathe through your mouth when you're doing it.
