Wendell arranged for his dad to come home today. His condition is such that all we can do now is to try and make sure that he is as pain-free as possible. From the day that Grandpa was hospitalized about a month ago, all he's ever wanted was to come home. He would ask daily, sometimes more than once, "Can go home yet?"
Wendell decided that at this time in Grandpa's life, it would be best for him to be with the people . . . and the pet . . . that he loves. So today, Wendell was able to reply, "Yeah dad, we can go home."

Awwww, I'm glad he was able to come home. It would be really hard from him to be away from his family at a time like this. And now he can see Kona and Aunty!
oh Jalna, wishing you guys all the best...hugs!
He must have been to happy to come home.
I'm glad too, Les.
Thank you so much, Kat!
I think so, Erick.
Yeah!!! Welcome home!
Looks just like my mother-in-law, the bed and the oxygen. She ended up passing away the very next morning after we brought her home. Tell Wendell if there is anything I can do to let me know. By the way Jalna I enjoy reading your blog!
Thanks, Ross
Jalna, what a wish come true for Grandpa. It is such a touching picture with Grandpa, Wendell and Kona.
No place like home.
:) Mich!
Thanks Ross. I'll relay your message to Wendell.
Thanks Celia.
I agree, Dean.
