Torito's Mexican Food is in Market City. Me and Wendell went there for lunch a few months ago. I was surprised that they were kinda busy for a weekday. This is Wendell's Chicken Flautas ($12.95 according to a Yelp menu photo). I think Wendell finished the whole thing.
My Chicken Quesadillas ($13.50). It was good, but I hope I didn't finish the whole thing . . .
I was thinking of Mex food recently and missing Mama's Mexican Restaurant in lower Liliha. They had homemade delish food like fresh made tortilla chips, great meatball soup and the creamiest beans - and I normally hate beans. -N
Yummmmy! I like that you are helping me do all the restaurant reviews while I am gone...hehe...j/k! Everything looks delish and happy belated birthday by the way!
That looks very good! But at those prices you better have a really good atmosphere and a good ocean view! That seems very expensive. Here in San Diego where Mexican food is king, those would be a $6 to $8 dollar plate.
I love Mexican food so much and back in the early 1970's, you could not even find salsa in our grocery stores. So I would write my friends in San Diego and pay them to mail La Victoria Salsa Supreama to me! My favorite! In the early 1970's there was not one good main well known Mexican restaurant that I can remember on Oahu. Then Mama's Mexican Kitchen appeared on School St. It was my favorite hang out after church on Sundays. And all the chips and salsa you could eat!

That's where I get my tacos al pastor! I like their rice there, it's pretty consistent. :) It's busy everytime we go there too
I like their food. Looks like the price went up a little.
It's expensive to me here too, Susan.
Hey N, was that the restaurant that you could see the sign from the freeway? I never went there.
Ono, Kat!
I gotta try um next time, Les.
It does seem expensive, Erick.
