I ran into my friend Sue today while I was at Don Quijote looking for salmon musubi (which was sold out by the way). She mentioned that for lunch she was gonna pick up some jin doi at U-Choice In. She described it as having a pork, mushroom and shrimp filling instead of the usual coconut or an. Sounded interesting so I decided to pick up some to try.

It's right outside of Don Quijote . . . the Chinese food place on the corner by Kaheka. I like their half moons.

I LOVE the samin there ...I think the stock is a great big big pot that they throw all the chicken and pork bones in and it sits and simmers alllll dayyy long....
