He would hate to ride the subway during peak hours. But the good stuff in Japan makes up for the crowds. My idea of an ideal trip is to arrive in Japan, go to Daiso, pack my bags, and come home the same day. And eat curry rice.
I love Japan, the food, the people’s gentle spirit, the pretty landscapes, etc. The train stations are crazy so I depend on my family who can find the right train to get on. If Wendel liked Kuromon he would like Tsukiji Market. More food but go early so it’s not as crowded.
