When Roger comes to my parents' house for dinner, I make him aburage stuffed with mochi and tied with kampyo. I cook this in a dashi made with vegetable broth, shoyu and mirin until the mochi becomes soft. We all love it!
THe next time you're there try their prepared foods...in that salad bar looking section. Their food is REALLY good. Randy goes over there when he's working at Pali Momi for lunch. Everything I tried so far I liked! My mom ended up buying him a gift card from there for his birthday...
My favorite is in their fresh food/deli section, I forget what it's called but it looks like little nori rectangles. Inside is a mock tuna salad-ish thing and it tastes GREAT. I think it might be weird at first but oh boy, are they good and addicting. Wish I could make it myself.

Nice pictures but I'm with Dd. Not my cup of tea, not at this time, anyways.
Watch out for bugs and old moths...bought some trail mix recently..and it was a ball of webs..
I love their salad bar and baked goods area.
Phyllis, I've had a frozen version from Marukai, and I liked it. Yours must be wonnnnderful!

OMG, Anon, so good to know!
Kat, I got an energy bar from the baked goods area. It was so good and way cheaper than the protein bars that they sell.

N, hahahahaha. You guys are cracking me up . . .
Les, we did try some recently. I think my favorite so far is the breakfast burrito. Even their vegan version is ono to me.

Yuppie Store! I saw these all over the Pacific Northwest on my Summer road trip. Seems to be the new Rage!
Jenny, I gotta go look for that next time I'm there.
Mark, must be people like me are becoming more aware of how unhealthy processed food is.
I really admire your drive to be healthier! I'm there with you!😊
Awwww . . . thanks, Susan!
So much choices. I would have a hard time choosing.
Dean, there's a section by the hot foods that got pizza and baked goods too!
Morning Star and Gardein products are way cheaper at Target. I love AMY'S MEATLOAF
Thanks for the tips, Anon.
