I would say that it can mop up about 2 tablespoons of oil.

I have a pack but never used them.... I got them thinking I could skim the oil off the top of soups, etc. and never remember to try. BTW, you think paper towels do the job just as well? v
V, I use paper towels when there's not too much oil to sop up. I have another Daiso product that's used to skim off oil from soup, but I never remember to use that one.
j, that stuff is good. I got one where it absorbs a lot of oil and used it for the oil for my fried chicken. Was pretty cool. When it expanded and I could dump it as a solid. Wish I knew what absorbent they used. I was thinking something like kitty litter?? In parking garages they use the kitty litter to absorb car oil liquid stain then sweep it up.-N

I use another brand, didn’t realize the 100 yen store sells it too.
So cool. My brother who's visiting from Seattle can't get enough of Daiso. The only downside is the tight and limited parking.
Oh - I think I have that but I forget to use it and waste paper towels.
Next time, for sure!
N, uuuu, I gotta look for that one.
Kat, the last time I went, the packaging was different . . . smaller . . . so not sure yet if it works as good.
Chet, I would go more often if it wasn't for the parking.
Aunty, I just love it.
I shall have to look for this.
