i bought cheaper ones a while ago but received one that looks more like these shown recently as a gift. the rubber tip to press elevator panels and also street crossing really helps. To actually use the tool to open doors is not that easy. all the weight of the door is concentrated into a small "pinch" when you pull the door. If you're really concerned about germs, it is helpful,
the cheapie one I bought had only a metal tip so it would slide off the buttons and not work on a lot of screen type panels of elevators so as I mentioned, the rubber tip works better but also, the one I have, it is a very soft tip so I'm wondering how long it will last. It's like the tip on those smart phone pointers.
I already lost the cheapie one so was happy to get this rubber tip one that is a tad bigger. v
Izsmom, I know! When I saw it on a YouTube commercial, I thought it was so interesting.
Kat, wish I were braver and could go to Daiso. Maybe someday soon.
Aunty, I know what you mean.
V, the reviews said that the rubber tip on this one falls of easily, so to me doesn't seem to be that well made.
Chet, my friend just gave me a small plastic hand with a pointing finger. I going try use that.
Mark, okay! LOL.
Mich, yah, if I gotta sanitize it, I might as well just sanitize my hand. BUT I going try use the one my friend just gave me and see how it goes. Mostly I like see if it works on the ATM machine. That's the only place I go . . . and even that is rarely.

Never seen one of those. Interesting.

if you can, you should look at daiso, there were similar types being sold there.
Looks interesting, but no need. Wash hands or spray sanitizer instead to save money!

oh, looking at your picture better, it seems like a rubber cap over the end, so maybe it is sturdier. My rubber tip is inset.

There's a full refund if you're not satisfied.
I'm not into gadgets. They are just trying to make money on your fear. Don't buy it! No need!
Hmmm, another thing to hang from my bag...not sure if I would remember to use it. Hehe

I first saw this on nozomiproject.com It's expensive because they use broken pottery from the great Japan flood to make it look pretty.
