Blue Eggs


Twice now we've had these mysterious blue eggs appear on our front lawn.

Hmmm..I wonder what kind of bird? Maybe those green parrots 🦜 you see flying around.

Are they really small? Could be mejiro eggs - small and blue and so cute. But then if they were in your yard, it could mean they didn't make it, boohoo.

j: looked it up I think they're house finches it mentions they lay blue eggs but vary from white to a deep dark blue w/ specks sometimes -N

Ho Izsmom, those green parrots! I saw so many of them one time in the late afternoon flying home to the trees by Central Union Church.

Aunty, they were around 1 1/2 inches.

N, I wondered.

CTS, could be.

Susan, it was so strange that they were on the ground in the middle of the yard.

Has to be pet birds getting loose. No native Hawaiian birds do Dat! Have no idea what kind. I guess search Blue Egg Birds!.....LOL!

I don't like how people bring non native animals to our islands! That was always Kapu!
