Latest Greeting Card and Polymer Clay Pin

Here's my latest greeting card. I had planned to color it with watercolor paints but realized that doing it with alcohol markers was easier.

Inspiration came from this pin that I got at a rummage sale for 50 cents. Can't believe it was only 50 cents. It's so pretty . . . and very tactile. I love touching it.

I'm pretty sure this is the method that the artist used to make the pin. I would love to learn how to do this . . . but I just can't imagine having to store more craft supplies in the nooks and crannies of my house.

Kim Korringa is a fun great artist that I know from my other friend Lani Chun, who does unreal beautiful leis out of polymer clay. I REALLY need to get back into making stuff with my stash. It consumes me when I do.
