Birds

I saw these birds on the way home from picking up eggs the other day and felt that I just had to take pictures. I debated a little bit as I drove home to get my camera because it was drizzling and because it was on a fairly busy stretch of road.

There were actually five birds when I first passed by and woulda made for a way better photo, but since I was committed by the time I drove back and parked my car, I decided to just go for it.

Here's a wide shot of the area.

Wow! Your camera is awesome.

That top photo would be a great one for the watercolor class - we still meet, same time, same place on Thursdays, and we all are sent the same picture to paint for "class" assignment. Since I am the slowest one, I haven't participated but I enjoy those people a lot and they are very kind to wannabees that don't produce.

ONE day, I will!

Aren't those the birds that sit on the backs of cows and eat the bugs off them?

I like the rich green colors. It makes a great background for the white birds. Nice!

Aunty, I'm so glad that you're enjoying the class! I love your artwork. And I agree, the people are so nice. Unfortunately, I cannot join you guys 'cause I already committed to something else on Thursdays.

Mark, I think they are!!

Thanks Kat,

Susan, that's what caught my eye!
