I want to put some kind of quote on this page, but can't decide which one yet. Thought I'd share anyway. Cute circles on torn origami in the sky as well as Dalai Lama sayings on the ground are obscured due to too-thick/opaque acrylic paint, but it's all a learning process . . . I guess (bah). Cute da sun, yah. Got the stamp at a rummage sale this past weekend . . . so perfect. Four people helped contribute to the supplies that I used for this page! Honolulu Aunty, Izsmom, CQ and Sweetie. Thank you peoples!! Love love love, mwah!
I used this to color the houses. It's different from watercolor pencils in that when it's wet it turns to ink!
I brushed water onto the right half of each square. It's very, very cool.
I looked up town quotes for you, and I liked this one.
“The simple truth is that you can understand a town. You can know and love and hate it. You can blame it, resent it, and nothing changes. In the end, you're just another part of it.” ~ Brenna Yovanoff
Jalna, I have a fun idea for you for a Thanksgiving Blog page. Since you all love to cook so much, so how about a fancy Hawaiian Kine Thanksgiving Cooking Blog! Take pics and maybe even videos and show the world how it's done Local Kine Style!
I'm having fun tonight looking up how to cook a Turkey. I just bought my first Turkey since 2008. That's when my Son and Daughter moved out. Now I only cook for one. ME!

It reminds me of the good old days in Hawaii in the 1960's when the big thing was to take a 55 Gallon drum, cut it in half and turn it into a massive BBQ.
I'm looking forward to your Awesome Thanksgiving Dinner! ; ) ; )

j: awesomeness. How did you do the swirly background. BTW how's retirement so far? -N
hey those pencils are pretty cool!!
ooh neat!
Very cool!
Chet, I'm always so grateful that I have such thoughtful people in my life.
Thanks for everything, Izsmom!
N, the swirls in the background were done with a rubber stamp. Retirement is like you said it would be . . . awesome!
Les, I'd been wanting to get the pencils from when I first learned about it awhile back.
Kat, I know!!!
Thanks, Aunty!
