Kahai Street Kitchen Again

We just can't seem to get enough of Kahai Street Kitchen food.

The Crispy Pork Belly was ono, but the vinegar sauce was sweeter than I had expected . . . kinda namasu-ish.  I prefer a more fish sauce flavor.

Crispy Pork Belly ( $9.95)
Oven roasted pork belly, sliced and dusted with flour, deep fried crispy and tossed in our vinegar, garlic and black pepper sauce, with tomatoes and sweet onions

I only took a bite of the Braised Boneless Short Ribs. It was melt-in-the-mouth tender.

Ho Ho Ho! You going there plenty times! In a way it is good that they don't open on Sunday and Monday - those are the days that I am most ono for their food.

I even opened a business checking account with First Hawaiian Bank so I can park in their lot. LOL! But the strategy wen fail - I have to close the account because of paperwork deficiency. Auwe! Thas okay though, because I have to go there (and park, of course) to turn in the form to close the account. Will go around lunchtime, one of these days this week.

Chet, parking sucks for me because I'm not good at it, but Wendell with his humongous truck does fine.

Izsmom, they have so much variety, especially with their Daily Specials, always got something new to try.

Aunty, you are just too funny!!

So everything is cooked in food warmers and you just pick?

No, Susan . . . they take long to cook up your order.
