Hotel Listel Inawashiro lies wedged at the foot of mountains with farmland spreading before it. Early in the planning stages of the trip, I imagined that the surrounding area of the hotel would be devoid of city lights and wondered if maybe I could try to take some long-exposure shots of the stars at night.
Unfortunately, that never happened. After dinner I was too tired and only wanted to go back to the room and relax. Here, at least is a picture that I took from our room before dinner.
And here are the photos from the dinner buffet.
Here is my plate. Kinda lacking, yah? Maybe I went back for more later. I don't remember anymore.
Here's my dessert. I miss those melons.

Cool, dim sum at the buffet. I'm looking forward to trying the fresh fruits; melons, apples next year.
too bad you didn't get to take night shots, the
buffets have so much good food!
Yum! I saw melons at the J-Stop store but didn't even ask how much they were. Must be delicious!
Chet, after I got home I realized that I didn't get to buy any dekopan oranges while there. Maybe it wasn't in season, but they're so expensive here. Try look for them when you're there. I wrote about it here: http://jalna.blogspot.com/2016/03/dekopan.html
I know, Kat . . . there are few opportunities to be where it is so dark.
Aunty, the melons at J-Shop are crazy expensive. I have one photo of a melon there with a price sticker of $71 on it!!
It's so pretty over there!!
So boonies, Les!
I'm getting hungry looking at your posts.
Gorgeous photo of mountain! Love it! Crab legs? yum!
