It's the best chichi dango that I've ever eaten. And guess where I bought it from.
WAIMANA EGG VENDOR at Kaiser High School Open Market!!! I wonder why it's purple. It made me so ono for more kinako-coated mochi that I made some of my own, though it wasn't as good.
Oh yuuuuummmm.... I LOVE mochi, but I'm not supposed to have much of it since I'm pre-diabetic. My daughter and granddaughter are also mochi-monsters. I always bring it with me when I travel to the mainland.
Ohhh.... WAIMANA eggs. I kept saying Waimalu. Tsk...
j: okay I'm now jonesing for it...and luckily Longs had mochiko on sale so I have a box. I love mochi too but I eat it so fast that it's kinda wasteful for the price -N
Oh, too bad you have to restrict your mochi intake, Kay. It DOES have a lot of sugar in it.
N, I know what you mean about eating it fast. I just got home from work and went straight to my stash of mochi. I ate a bunch of pieces in a row before I could stop myself.
Yay, Mich!! I think I'll buy more mochiko on my Marukai run tomorrow!

Mom loved yours, she even liked the Open Market one too. Thanks again!
Glad you liked it, Les!!
