I'm Irritable

I don't feel like being positive and cheery.

If I run into someone who is positive and cheery, I will say, "Oh come on, no act."

Some days are like that, yah.

Awww, Jalna. That happens to the best of us. There are some days when the universe is askew and we just want to veg out without everybody else trying to cheer us up. Wishing you bluer skies tomorrow.

j: I am finding that I'm more easily annoyed these days, though I do try many times in the day to thank God for the day. Loud and annoying teenagers (live across from a high school), drivers not paying attention or just going too dang slow (as I drive more during the day when us seniors are out), chatty cashiers that don't care there's a line, ppl who stand in a food line and once there don't know what to get even when they had alllllll that time to peruse the takeout menu, the defacing and graffiti everywhere of our public spaces incld. trees (ack!), so much litter when there's closeby trash cans...and one of my pet peeves the park I walk my dogs daily is so beautiful but yet pigs sit on the picnic table and leave all their beer bottles on the ground when there are trashcans EVERYWHERE there. gggrrrr. I can get crabby these days too! - N

That's our privilege as women, so have a yucky day and stay away from people. Write crappy letters to people that irritate you, but do not send them. When you are feeling okay again (it happens!), then destroy the letters.

j: For me I think partly becuz I've not worked for about 4 years and notice stuff that happens during the day when I use to be at work. Work took all my energy, the rush hour traffic, the multi-tasking and multi-projects with so many deadlines, dealing with coworkers, bosses and customers. Just busy busy busy. And now not so much and I'm now going out during work hours when all the seniors, moms and their kids are out.
When focused on a looming deadline a chatty cashier is not as annoying...but if that's all I have to do...wait...wait...wait then it's annoying as heck. When I shopped after work most of the stores were relatively empty but now it seems everyone is out during the day. though I do notice that rush hour traffic to the west side now starts just before 3 pm....-N

LOL, Aunty . . . I like that it's a privilege we have!

Oooooh, you no like see my Stink Eye, Mark.

Oh no, Mich. Friday's food seems more like the culprit than Wednesday kiss. LOL. We should ask when we go work on Monday.

I don't blame you, Les.

Funny, Susan!

That thought crossed my mind, Kat.

Myko, that video cracked me up!! Hahahahaha!!!

N, I know what you mean. For me, I think I have to practice patience, but sometimes it's just so hard.

Carb withdrawals! I cannot go on a low carb diet because I WILL seriously injure people.
Hahaha, when I tried low carb, if someone told me "good morning" it would take all my energy not to say, "WTF is it to you"

It happens to the best of us but to put things in perspective be grateful that you live in the best place on earth, that you're able to get the best tap water when you turn on the faucet, that you have instant electricity with the flick of a switch, that you're able to have food on your table 3X a day, that you don't live in an area with an unstable government that you have to fear for your life, that you have a wonderful family and are surrounded with great friends.

I think about that all the time Anon. With all of the atrocities happening on this Earth, I live safe and secure in total comfort on a tiny dot in the middle of the Pacific Ocean . . . the jackpot place to have been born.

That was so funny, Mark.
