Another Watch

Landon found this watch about 10 years ago while spearfishing. He said that he saw it shining at the bottom of about 20 feet of water.  Lan said that he was thinking "Rolex Rolex" so he was small-kine disappointed when it wasn't. Amazingly, it still worked, but he didn't really care for the faded red/blue dial so he never used it.

Wendell somehow noticed the watch a few weeks ago. He liked how it looked so he had a new battery put in. Wendell said that he likes the smooth operation. It's now his favorite everyday watch.

Seiko was Uncle's favorite watch - the watch of surfers and fishermen. It got harder and harder to find them, especially the automatic ones that self wind. Good find!

Wow that is a really nice watch. Diver watches comprise most of my collection.

I think it's very nice looking! My friend found antique looking gold ring in the bottom of river a long time ago. There were some writing inside the ring but it's faded and unable to read it...my imagination went wild but I was glad that it wasn't me that find it...a bit eerie.

That watch looks 1980's era to me. That is an excellent watch! Back in the day it was probably $200 bucks at Shirokiya! I've loved divers watches since I was a little kid surfer. ; )

He found it under 20 feet of water and it's still running??? Unbelievable! I'll bet a Rolex couldn't do that. Wow!

I'm soaking that mochiko fish recipe tonight. Yay! Looking forward to trying it tomorrow.

You'll never know what you will find in the ocean. Too bad I dont go diving (afraid of sharks lol)
Surprising it still works after all these years and how long the watch was in the ocean.

For real, Les.

Me too, Mmiissee . . . I'm scared of stuff in the ocean.
