Garden Bracelet

This bracelet makes me feel as if I'm in a garden so I gave it that name . . . Garden Bracelet. It's another swap meet find. It actually doesn't fit me. It's too small. And it's too fancy for me to wear anyway, but it was only $5 and I just love the beads so I bought it.

I think about all the handiwork that went into its making. I wonder about the person who made the bracelet. I wonder how long it took her to make it. I wish I could let her know how much I like it and tell her thank her.

It brings to mind an "undersea" garden, with those colors.

My sister used to make those all the time, starting off with a peyote strap and then adding branches of beads. They are indeed beautiful and have a good feel to them. You are surrounded by treasures!

It DOES yah, Lorna!

Awww, you're welcome, Jenny.

Aunty, Fay just emailed me and said that both you and your sister used to make these. I think that so much love must go into making um.

When I attach a slightly long bracelet to the end they're just right, Les. It looks like I'm wearing two bracelets when I do that.
