Underachieving

Look at Dean's (Courtsdawnpatrol's blog) entry to his working place's Easter Egg Contest.  It's the solar system! It looks like he decorated the eggs with some kind of tissue paper/glue technique.  And do you see Earth?  It's the fourth one from the left.  The blue and green one. You can see North America and South America.  !!!!!!!!!!

Dean's eggs

This is my entry to our contest at my working place.  I just put stickers on my egg.  When it came time to vote, I voted for mine because I felt sorry for it.

This kinda reminds me of the time back in the 6th grade . . . Mr. Nitta's class . . . when we had to do an insect collection.  On the day that the project was due, Jason Arakawa brought in his insects in a handcrafted wooden box complete with a glass top.  And his collection deserved such a showcase because it was beautifully displayed. Like a museum's. We all ooh'd and aah'd.

I put my collection in a cigar box. And I only met the minimum requirement of 20 insects because I had two mosquitoes . . . one male and one female.  For real.  I did that.  I got a C-.

Well, I'm off to Japan tomorrow!!!!  Not sure if I'll be able to blog while I'm there. I don't own a laptop . . . only an iPad. And I'm not sure how good our wifi connection's gonna be, especially since we'll be in the boonies on some days.

If not, I'll be back in two weeks!

I had Mr. Nitta in 6th grade too! No worry, I was probably his worst student - even got the paddle in front of the whole class.

Enjoy your Japan trip, hope you see beautiful things and take pictures for us!

J: You're going during the Sakura season. Awesome + it's cooler there. I KNOW you're gonna have some fun escapades and look forward to hearing about 'em when you return. Is your sis going to buy the expensive uni again? :D -N

Aunty!!! You got da paddle??!! LOL. Sorry but that's funny!

Thanks Jenny! Am loving your Japan posts.

Thanks Kat!

LOL, N. No, don't think she's getting expensive uni this time. It's gonna be expensive abalone! !!!!!!

Thanks Taryn!

I had no 20th insect Akemi and that mosquito was flying against the screen. But did you ever hear that a buzzing mosquito is a male mosquito and male mosquitoes don't bite? Don't think it's true because I swear I've been bitten after hearing a mosquito buzzing at my ear. You have a nice trip too!
