Helping Out

One of my sister's working place had a bake/craft fundraiser yesterday to raise money for two of its coworkers to help them with their medical expenses.

Me and my sisters met on Sunday to work on our donations.

It took us about 7 hours to complete everything, but the time just flew by.  It was a great way to spend the day . . . and for a worthwhile cause too.

These are great ideas for bake sales to benefit my work place fundraising (March of Dimes & Aloha United Way). Do you have any other suggestions?

J: I really wish I knew you back at KHS. You're too funny. I admire your creative skills, I love the bracelets the 3rd and 4th from the left, so pretty.

And the food. OMG - did y'all learn from your mom becuz I saw that your bro is also a chef. You guys are major foodies!

I'll be impatiently waiting for your cookie recipe, they looked along with your pizzele (sp) and concidently read your past blogs about the other nite.

I like how every single craft and food item is homemade. Nowadays people like to buy ready made and sell. I'd buy all your stuff!

Myko, my sister said that someone put together hawaiian food lunches. Also had individual cake slices. Even had guppies and worm decomposition kits. Having a rummage sale might be good too.

Thanks, N! I'm the only one in my family that doesn't cook. Everybody else, including my son and my husband, can cook good.

Thanks Les. My sister said that one of the recipients who sits right next to her at work cried and cried the day of the fundraiser because she was so touched.

Awww, thanks Susan!
