Last Day in Hokkaido


Here are just a few random shots from our last day in Japan . . . not too many.

Wash basin in a food court at a mall.  We decided the urinal-looking one was for kids to wash their hands . . . we hoped.

Awww . . . time to leave. I hope we get to go back again.  Now that we've tried all the treats that we brought back, we know which ones to get more of. Plus . . . you know . . . we kinda missed some stuff . . .

One week in Japan is way too short a time. Two weeks is good, and by then, you miss home and are ready to return. What is impressive is that Japan is such a clean country; even w/o trash cans all over the streets, people don't just dump their rubbish any old place. The children there are very well-behaved, too. There's something to be learned from that culture. But sure looks like you and your sisters had the time of your lives!

Ooooh Lorna, I agree . . . I wish we had just one more week. Except there was no way my sisters coulda fit any more stuff in their suitcases.
