Kyoto Birds

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!  Hope you had a good one!

I wanted to share this video with you today.  This is of a flock of birds that we saw outside of Kyoto Station as we arrived home from an outing.  It was just before sunset, and must be a common occurrence there because me and Les seemed to be the only ones who were captured by the performance.  Please excuse our talking in the background. Woulda been good if I coulda covered it up with music, but I dunno  how.

Welcome home :) sounds like a wonderful trip !

I believe that these are sparrows and if chased by predators , they go into swirls to avoid capture. It was on a nature show recently.
