I had the pleasure of taking pictures at a rehearsal of T-Shirt Theatres upcoming performance of Romeo and Juliet. As usual, the kids were brilliant and provided an outstanding rendition of this most classic story.
The show dates are: Thursday, Nov. 15 at 7 pm and Sunday, Nov. 18 at 4:30 pm at Farrington High School Auditorium, 1564 N. School Street (at Houghtailing). Performances are free.

looks like a great play!
WOW..Your cover shot is sooo cool.. how was that done??? was that a planned pose?? very nice!!
The first shot is awesome! Great coverage of the play.
HUH ?? Free ??
Kat, it's totally different from what they normally do. I was very impressed.
Thanks Shun Wah. George showed me a picture of the pose that he wanted in that first shot, and I gulped . . . wasn't sure if I could pull it off. I chose a rather darkened area on the stage and had the couple sit right next to a curtain which is on the right in the shot. I bounced my flash off the curtain. I took a lot of shots, but not one of them had the couple positioned exactly right, so I had to nudge them together in photoshop.
Thanks Erick. Too bad you couldn't make it.
Yup Didi. All T-Shirt Theatre performances are free.
Great shots, especially the cover.
What's the secret to clear shots in a dark theater?
Thanks Dean. The "secret" is using a really good lens that lets in a lot of light. Most of the pictures I took with an 85mm, f1.2 Canon lens. It weighs a ton, but is awesome in low-light situations.
The grinder? It's for coffee beans!
Moki, that's for coffee beans!!!! Now I wish I checked it out better.
