Allison's Chicken Broccoli Hotdish


Here's another dish shared by a coworker.  This was a major hit.  Thanks Allison!!  It was really good.  And thanks for the recipe!

2 bags frozen broccoli (defrosted)
1 lb cubed cooked chicken
1 can cream of mushroom (or chicken) soup
1 1/2 c. mayo
1 lb velveta cut up
water chestnuts (or slivered almonds)

Mix everything together. Bake for 45 minutes.

Add dried onion rings to top. Bake for another 15 minutes.

That is some serious all american cooking. I can't think of the more perfect dish for such a category. The onion rings on top are the best!
I might have to use this recipe for Thanksgiving.
