I got choke pictures for you this year. I got lazy and just put the camera in "P"rogram mode and let it do all the thinking, although it did underexpose most of my shots. Quick-kine post-processing to brighten um a little and here ya go . . . in no particular order . . . of whatever caught my eye.
Saw most of the folks you took pictures of - the black guy walking/running backwards, the girl in her bridal outfit (there were two), the Marines with their 70 pound packs (some lady asked if they wanted to carry 150 pounds more - her), lots of characters.
wow; some of doze outfits were super funny! my favorites are the one with the guy resting on the bags of ice and the guy walking under the hose; i can totally imagine da feeling of relief. unbelievable stuff: a guy walking with getas! how is that possible? and one guy walking bare feet! no way!!!

How fun!!! I wonder if there are any "crazies" that run in the California (Sacramento) Marathon here?? Ours was last weekend.
Betty, I just love those guys. I know their usually pretty beat by the time they reach my area, but some of um will smile and pose for me.
