Fay is Ailey's grandma and my good, good friend. Her daughter Jamie said that it's been awhile since the family got together for a family portrait so we all met at Maunalua Bay this past Sunday. Her brothers Rory and Ryan played soccer and baseball with my son Landon.
This is my favorite shot of the day. Ailey showed us exactly how she felt about this picture taking session when she let out the hugest yawn.
Erick, you should've seen how long it took me to get the exposure right for the second shot. I kept taking shot after shot after shot before I realized that the pictures weren't coming out because my flash was off. Sooo rookie.

Thanks Betty!!
Wow, came out really nice! No look like you had problems with the lighting at all!
Thanks Les. I think I coulda ended up with more nicer sunset pictures if I only knew how to handle the lighting . . . just gotta keep practicing.
Wow, love the sky in the second shot. But the yawn is priceless!

Ha, ha, ha, never turn the flash on. OK, I am not the only one that does that, I feel better now.

Jamie's a stay-at-home mom right now, but I know she worked at Shirokiya before. Maybe there?
