Meat!

After a couple posts on vegan food, I thought maybe some of you might want to see some meat instead. Sorry, Roger.

Wendell seasoned some pork chops with garlic salt and pepper and pan fried them. Then he added a can of Cream of Mushroom soup, 3 cups of water and a package of Lipton Onion Soup Mix. Mmmm mmmmm good.

Our family friend Leslie (different one) made this for a get-together. She marinated about 2 pounds of flank steak in a mixture of 1 pack of Noh's Kim Chee mix, 6 minced garlic, 1 c. shoyu, 3/4 c. sugar and 2 Tbsp. of sesame seeds. Marinate overnight. Grill.
Wendell bought these fishcake meatballs from KC Meatball House in Chinatown. I really liked them. They also have other different flavors including pork meatballs, beef meatballs, shrimp meatballs, squid meatballs, and lobster meatballs. Wendell said the guy there is really friendly and offers you samples and tea while you wait for your order to be made.

Funny, Les.

Betty, I'm actually not much of meat eater myself, so of the three I liked the fishcake meatballs the best.

I make pork chops like that. Usually add sliced onion, sometimes potatoes. Old times dish!

Nate, that sounds soo ono!

Is that pork chop super huge or the rice super small? Maybe it's not regular rice? For some reason the pork chop picture looks good, but the rice looks "different". I like the close up so I can see all those individual grains of rice! :)

Hey Rick. Maybe the rice looks different because I scooped it out of the cooker as soon as the button popped and didn't give it a chance to rest. You get good eye!

Great meat shots, looks to ono!

Haha. It does look delicious! I thought it was a special type of rice. I don't think it's my eye. I think it's your good camera and photo skills. Can't even see the rice grains in my photos. :)

Rick, you use a CAMERA PHONE to take your pictures and you do such a good job at it, Mr. Mandoo asked if you could take pictures for him! Now that's impressive! Hahaha.

That's funny Didi. Maybe after Wendell goes there a few times, the guy will offer him some wine too!
