Sunny Aloha Miller asked Erick and me to take pictures at her nephew Robby's graduation party held yesterday at Rumours in the Ala Moana Hotel. It was a combination party for cousins Nohea and Noel as well.Everybody, young and old, had choke good fun.
Wow, very nice! Great depth of field too. I was shooting wide open so I have almost no DoF. Nice group shots, also. Great job, I know the families will love the photos.
Thanks Erick. Depth of field always worries me with group shots in darkened rooms. Most of my shots were taken with my 35mm lens at 1/80, f5, 1600 ISO. DOF still missed on some shots. For the photobooth shot (11th one down) I focused on the girl doing the shaka. The two girls next to her were soft and the three girls in the back row were blurry. I had to oversharpen the back-row girls in Photoshop in order to keep the image from the discard pile. I used 2000 ISO for the colorful spotlight picture. No flash, 1/80 at f1.6.
