Instant Soups from Japan

About a month ago Marvin went to Japan for a few days (wouldja believe). I really liked these instant soups that he brought back. The portions were tiny, but I was shocked at how tasty they were . . . very oishii.

This is like the Vietnamese Pho Ga ($1.60)
Kalbi Soup ($1.80)

Erick, I haven't seen them in the stores here.

Kat, the little freeze-dried blocks of ingredients were so neat, and very tasty.

Betty, the portions were small so they were great to go along with something or just as a snack.

Les, I got them from Muji in Harajuku. It's behind a big SoftBank store. That was a fun day!

Hey..glad you did the side-by-side compare w/ the photo.. a lot of times those instant things don't look like the photo when it's done..great shots! They look really good on cold days like these day have been.

I know what you mean Shun-Wah. I bought this Linguine with Clam from Costco once cause the picture on the box looked so good. It was horrible.
