Like Magic

If you're a tea drinker like my fellow blogger RONW of Hotel Waikiki is, then you must have mugs like this at home.

Okay, maybe not. WHAAAAAAAT???!!! It's not dirty. . . it's just stained.
So, this is how you get rid of the stain. You put about 3 tbsp. of salt into the mug and add enough water to make a paste.
Then you start rubbing the salt paste around the inside of the mug with your fingertips.
Keep rubbing.
See how it's coming off?
Pretty neat, hah?
All happy now.

So that's how it's done!!! Noe when I go back to the Big Island, I'll have to clean my Mom's as she is a tea drinker and her mugs look just like that and I've cleaned the with elbow grease before!!!

Oh, thanks for showing this with the usual step-by-step photos too! I am a tea drinker and my mug is about half as bad as his "before" pic of the mug. I'll try the salt method! I used to use a plastic scrubber to no avail, but those netted sponges will get out about 90% of the stain.
