Easter Sunday at My House

The food theme today was filipino, and Didi decided to make some Pancit Bihon. I asked if she could prepare it at my house so that I could catch her in action. I've posted the recipe above.
Soak the pancit in water beforehand to soften.
Heat oil in wok or biggest pan you can find. Add chicken, onion, ginger and garlic. Add all the vegetables.
Pour in broth and shrimp.Add noodles. Stir in oyster sauce, patis and soup base. Keep tossing until you realize that the pan is too small.
Transfer everything into a bigger pot. Put in bowl and garnish for the picture. My sister Leigh made Shrimp Sarciado. My sister Geri made Pinakbet.Do you remember the Adobo I made last week? I used the same recipe and used pork belly instead to come up with my version of Fried Pork. Wendell made Sari Sari, but I forgot to get a picture.
Here's Daniel, Kenna and Aaron. Daniel and Kenna made cookies. Geri also tried her hand at bread pudding. Didi made Kankanen Suman. Here's my nephew Jason and Misty.
Outside while my nephew was hunting for eggs, I noticed this spider and its web. My brother-in-law Teren wearing black shorts stood behind it while shading me and the spider with an umbrella. The wind kept blowing the web and this is the best shot I could get.

Jalna, are you going to post recipes? I love pancit too and lumpia. The other dishes all look so fantastic!! We went to Black Angus to eat after church. Not very exciting, I had salmon and Gerry had chicken. Would have preferred to be at your house!!! :)

Hey Betty, Didi just e-mailed me the recipe. I think I'll put it in a separate post to keep things organized.
