Lunch with Sue

Sue is one of my favorite people in the whole world. I used to work with her back in the day when I was a hairdresser. She is the one who introduced me to Wendell. Sue is the most glamorous, stylish person I know. I, on the other hand, am the most grungy I-don't-care-how-I-look person I know. We must make an odd-looking pair when we're together. What I love the most about Sue is her honesty and openness. I love, love, love the animinated way in which she converses . . . much like me . . . and I have a blast just listening to her talk.

Sue, if you get your computer to work and you're reading this, thanks for the treat today. I will color my hair soon, but I will not turn in my camera backpack for a real purse. Love you.

We had lunch at Macaroni Grill. As soon as we got to our table Sheldon, our waiter, wrote his name on the "tablecloth" and poured out some oil and herbs for us to dip our bread into. It was kinda dark so the quality of these pictures is poor (my excuse).
Here's Sheldon.
Sue's nails are always, always beautifully manicured.
I had a Strawberry Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing.
For dessert we shared this Lemon Passion Souffle . . . very yummy.

Oh, you went to one of our favorite places to eat. The next time you go there ask the waiter for some balsamic vinegar to put in the olive oil to dip your bread in. You will think you've died and gone to heaven. Well, that's if you like balsamic vinegar. We always tell them we go there for the bread. It is so ono. I have not had that salad. I will have to try that. Everything they serve is so ono!! Your friend is beautiful. Not only does she have wonderful manicured finger nails, that rock on her finger is gorgeous!! :) I use to be real prissy when I was younger, now I don't really care. Stopped getting my nails done last fall and am letting my hair grow out. Too much money to do all that.

Betty, it was actually my first time there. I think I would love balsamic vinegar in the olive oil. It does sound ono. Do you have any pictures of you in all your prissiness?

Jalna, I don't know, I will have to look. I have some wallet size ones that we had made for our Christmas cards (I think there's some left) I could send you.

Betty, I was just curious to see you in all your finery. Maybe you could add it to your Facebook wall.
